Peter holds a BSc in geology from University of Hull, UK and has more than 45 years’ experience in the oil industry. Initially a geologist then petroleum engineer, he has worked on many international upstream projects.

Peter has extensive operations management experience initially with Pennzoil in the Dutch North Sea and subsequently for Clyde Petroleum PLC, recognized as one of the most efficient operators in the Netherlands.

​

He was responsible for the start-up of operations for Clyde Petroleum in Yemen and for Lone Star Energy in Morocco. He has also managed major field development programs in India and Turkmenistan for Command Petroleum and Dragon Oil respectively. Peter was Group Drilling Manager for Cairn Energy managing drilling programs in India and Bangladesh. With his broad technical and commercial experience, Peter can add considerable value from board level to field operations.

Peter has worked as a Director with Prime Energy and formerly with ESG for over 15 years.
